SFA Pre-Service Fire Students,

 

Ontario has declared a state of emergency in the Province, that in addition to the measures already taken by Southwest Fire Academy has allowed us to get temporary approval for you to complete all of the IFSTA tests in Resource One at home.  This will eliminate the need for you to attend the campus to complete these tests.  You will each be credited 46.5 hours towards your required 115 on campus hours.

 

This is a short term exemption from the normal program delivery and when the COVID-19 protective measures are eliminated, the ability to test at home will also stop.  As far as practical days, cur...

IMPORTANT STATEMENT OF FACT:These are recommended changes from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services (MCSCS) and are not legislation yet.  This is currently open for public comment in Ontario.
